Made up of graduates and current students of the Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music, Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Quintet Zambra is a dynamic group whose aim is to bring more unusual as well as familiar repertoire for wind quintet to audiences across the UK.

Quintet Zambra has been performing together for over three years and was recently awarded the prestigious Mary D. Adams prize for Chamber Music from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. They have consequently gained a lot of fresh interest from various audiences and composers including a world premiere of John Maxwell Geddes' Quango, a performance for the Duke of Edinburgh and an unforgettable appearance in the world famous "Gherkin".

The quintet players, as well as being dedicated to chamber music, are dedicated and skilled orchestral players and can be often seen playing with orchestras across the UK including the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic.
